      Natal adalah hari raya bagi umat Kristiani, untuk memperingati kelahiran Yesus pada tanggal 25 Desember. Yesus lahir dalam kesederhanaan, Dia memilih untuk di lahirkan di kandang domba.

      Setiap tahun, natal masih diperingati. Kisahnya masih saja diceritakan. Bahkan cerita natal itu tidak pernah luntur.. Hanya sayang, kedamaian yang menyelimuti Natal telah hilang.Kini kita mempringati Natal, tetapi tidak pernah merasa damai. Berita kelahiran Juruselamat tidak sangggup menghembuskan rasa damai dihati kita.

      Makna natal yang sebernarnya diganti dengan pesta pora, hura-hura, dan kemewahan yang sia-sia. Alangkah indahnya, jika kita merasakan Natal yang sesungguhnya. Merasakan Kristus dalam kesunyian, merasakan Kristu dalam kesederhanaan dan kedamaian.
